4G coverage in Sarawak increases to 82.86%, says Zahidi


KUALA LUMPUR: The percentage of 4G network coverage in populated areas in Sarawak has increased to 82.86 per cent in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2021 compared with 73.67 per cent before the implementation of the National Digital Network (Jendela) initiative in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, the Dewan Rakyat was told Thursday (March 3).

Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin said 4G broadband coverage in the Baram parliamentary constituency has increased to 34.12 per cent in Q4 2021 compared with 25.97 per cent (before implementation of Jendela).
